Uniflash is a very useful tool to manipulate the bios' ROM. You can use it with any computer you want as long as it's over the minimum requirements. It is able to detect the type of ROM used, to read and write to it. If you want to update your bios and that you haven't any tool to flash the new version or that you'd like to get the current version of you bios, this tool is made for you ! If you have failed to flash a previous update or used an inappropriate bios on another computer, it can be used for the "hotswap" technique (to take the ROM of the bricked computer, start a functionnal computer, hotswapping the ROM from the working computer with the improperly flashed one and to flash the proper bios and finally to turn off the functionnal computer and to bring back both ROMs where they came from) as long as the ROM is compatible and recognized by Uniflash.![[fr]](./ext/win3x/customcode/images/fr.gif){kind=small}
Uniflash est un outil très pratique pour manipuler la ROM du bios de votre ordinateur. Peu importe l'ordinateur que vous avez, tant qu'il respecte le minimum requis, il est capable de détecter le type de ROM utilisée, de lire et d'écrire dessus. Si vous devez mettre à jour votre bios et que vous n'avez aucun utilitaire pour flasher la nouvelle version ou encore que vous vouliez récupérer la version actuelle de votre bios, cet outil est fait pour vous ! Si jamais vous avez raté une mise à jour d'un bios ou utilisé un bios inadéquat sur un autre ordinateur, il peut aussi servir pour faire du "hotswap" (prendre la ROM de l'ordi briqué, démarrer un ordinateur fonctionnel, mettre à chaud la rom de l'ordinateur briqué dans l'ordinateur fonctionnel et flasher le bios qui va bien puis éteindre l'ordinateur fonctionnel et remettre les ROMs à leur place) tant que la ROM est compatible et reconnue par Uniflash.Minimum requirements (Configuration requise)

- RAM : Doit être deux fois supérieure à la taille de la ROM à copier (mais moins que 2Go) / Must be two times bigger than the size of the ROM to dump (but less than 2GB)
- OS : MS-DOS 4.0
