X-DX2.html (URL may change in the future) Known issues: "Leaky Ni-Cd clock battery" can be removed, the board does not have a clock battery. Notes: an additional 72-pin SIMM socket can be soldered onto the board to allow 2x 72-pin SIMMs to be used. I own this motherboard and have it configured with AMD Am486DX2 CPU, 40MHz FSB, 256 KB cache, 64 MB RAM. |

There is the spot for one nearby the keyboard connector, so it's very likely some models had one. They might not have populated it for your model (or the one on the photo), but the traces aren't here for no reason I'm not sure it's the same board as the one you linked because that one has two vlb slots whereas this one has three.

It is possible that there are some minor differences between revisions of the board. For example, my board has tantalum capacitors whereas the one on the photo has electrolytic capacitors. Some boards might even have the missing 72-pin SIMM socket installed. There is room for a barrel battery, I agree. But I never seen a picture of this board that actually had a barrel battery installed. The linked manual is the closest match there is for this board, all settings are listed and valid. The only difference is the number of VLB-slots. I actually sent the author a message about this (no response yet).

No, I mean the author of https://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards. The motherboard is currently listed as unidentified on that site.

Ah well they're not the author What stason has put there is named "total hardware 1999" There are many replicas of th99 on the web (https://th99.infania.net/ http://www.uncreativelabs.de/th99/ https://www.arvutimuuseum.ee/th99/) and stason.org is just one of them. Th99 actually comes from a software from the 90's named "Microhouse technical library". They are the author of all of this ... But they've disappear around the year 2000. Stason probably won't fix it. However UH19 is kind of a th99 replica I initially turned th99's motherboard pages into a SQL database and built a website that would use it. Since then we've added a few thousand more boards, but anything from stason.org or th99 is also in our database. Here's the board you've found on stason for instance : http://www.win3x.org/uh19/motherboard/show/5451 I guess we could edit the schema to add the missing vlb slot and update the name

That makes perfect sense, never knew that. UH19 is like the successor to TH99 Perhaps a merge of http://www.win3x.org/uh19/motherboard/show/6814 and http://www.win3x.org/uh19/motherboard/show/5451 (Manual "MTL Jumper manual" link is broken) is appropriate?

thank you for finding out this was a duplicate picture, bios chipset info have been transferred, not yet removed the duplicate entry as a redirect needs to be built which will be implemented in the next release of UH19.

That's great! A few more improvements: Title: AQUARIUS SYSTEMS, INC. MB-4D33NR/50NR Expansion slots: 3x 32-bit VLB Also known as: <remove> The name of the board is MB-4D33NR/50NR, it is not known other than that (see photo).

It has been marketed under the other names as well. But you're right on the actual board marking. Corrected, thank you
