Use a PS/2 mouse on Windows 1.0x

Three steps:
  1. get the MOUSE.DRV file from Windows 2.03
  2. on the installation disk of Windows 1.0x, replace the older file
  3. install Windows 1.0x by choosing a serial mouse at the setup
That's all :)

Update in 2015: that guide doesn't apply to Windows Premiere Edition; you need another driver instead

Yeah, that guide is also useful on Virtual PC (because it emulates a PS/2 mouse).
Thanks!

This tip was found on Nathan Lineback's website: http://toastytech.com/

But I've learned a lot from him and wanted to share this tip with you.

Best regards,

Matthias
