it seems like no matter what browser I use
this forum does not look quite right

which win16 browser is recomended and with what settings
and with what screen resolution?

It runs pretty well under Netscape in 800x600... but not unless you disable Javascript error messages.
Which problems do you encounter?

The software this forum runs on (PhpBB) was built taking the XHTML 1.x Recommendation in consideration. Re-coding the whole set of templates to support old (and standards-wise broken) browsers would take ages.

However, it works right in IE 5 here.

I dont really need help so much as just coperation
compliance with win3x standards

like I said maby I'm just doing somthing wrong
640x480 is standard for win3x
and MSIE did not get stable till 32bit
since win3x browsers do not change
they are easy to acount for

heh you forget win3x has all the time in the world
its only for "NEW" standards that time runs out

I recomend some crossbrowser and setting testing to the webmaster
